of bees for crop production.
Most crops have pollen on the head of the pistil, which produces seeds and fruit. At this point, bees help pollinate the flowers are called "bee pollinators." Bees are responsible for 67% of fruits and vegetables. Producing fruits such as strawberries and watermelon requires pollen from bees. To solve this problem, Bee My Hive helps users protect the Earth by increasing honeybees while decorating their own real and digital beehives at the same time.

Users who are deeply interested in the Earth's environment, wish to design their own garden, or have a keen interest in beekeeping can begin their journey with Bee My Hive from this screen.
LET'S START
Users can customize their own beehives, choosing the size and shape that best fits their garden. Additionally, they can select flowers to place around the hive and provide snacks that bees favor.
Each button includes descriptions and explanations on how to attract bees. Now, there will be plenty of bees gathering around their hive.

CUSTOM BEEHIVE
Users can receive data on bee activation rates and information about the bees through an app.
The actual beehive is connected to the app, allowing users to easily check the status of the bees and the hive directly from the app. At the same time, users can receive missions, similar to playing a game, to help increase the bee population.
RAISE A PET HONEYBEE AS A GAME
Users can scan their actual beehive and the treats they are decorating with the camera on their phones.
DIGITAL BEEHIVE
The LiDAR scanner automatically scans the added flowers and treats, transforming them into pixel animations. All users need to do is simply point their camera at the real beehive.
SHOPPING & SMART BEEHIVE
When it's raining or they are not in the garden, users can easily view their actual beehive using their camera. They can also buy more hives or get repairs through their profile.

Music
Bees can hear music, but not in the traditional way because they don't have ears. They sense it through vibrational frequencies. The sweet spot for bees and vibrations is between 250 Hz to 500 Hz.
Food
Bee Bread is a mixture of pollen and honey that is usually fed to larvae destined to become worker bees. Honey is made and stored for consumption by bee colonies during the colder months when fewer flowers are available.
Environment
Because the types of ornamental flowers commonly planted in the yard do not produce enough honey for bees, growing plants such as sugarcane, sunflower, cornflower, beech, or apple trees increases bee production.

We set up five targets based on interviews, and we set up personas based on these targets.

2. Who love gardening and want to make their yard look beautiful.
3. Who love pets and plants and are familiar with pet games.
4. Who care about the environment and want to protect the earth.
5. Who want to keep their own bees and harvest their own honey.

We've integrated the suggested and personas to enhance user interaction and meet the user requirements that we outlined.

We used pixel art to make our digitized smart Beehive user-friendly, where users can have fun playing pixel games and raising their own bees.

Reflections
1. User testing during the prototype stage proved to be quite useful, thus keeping the user involved in the process and not designing something out of the way.
2. Learned to use different synthesis frameworks apart from mapping the customer journey.
3. A lot of back-and-forths were involved especially in the prototyping stage. It was quite a challenge for the team members to implement the design changes and prioritize which changes to make for the next versions after the user testing results.
4. Focusing on the scope for the MVP of the app took a lot of time, which was the primary result of the research stage.
5. Team coordination and dividing the work responsibilities helped to complete the project within the timeline.
6. Our original plan was to scan the package of the snacks to digitalize, but these could not make it into the MVP plan after feedback from users. It was rather crucial to focus on the convenience and technical development of our app.
