Myself hidden in the silence
shrouded with frost
When something frightening or embarrassing happened, I saw myself distorting my facial expressions with trembling hands and feet and all I wanted to do was wear armor that would keep me safe and cover my body. I made mask, gloves, armor, and boots using recycling boxes.
In Africa, it is said that masks are worn to look strong against enemies. Like this, I tried to express my feelings of not wanting to be noticed by society in the form of primitive armor. The seamingly sharp each piece of armor does not seem to be swayed by personal feelings.
