Mercedes-Benz Russia Fashion Week

Myself hidden in the silence
shrouded with frost

I participated in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week by creating props for the brand Painters. When I experienced something frightening or embarrassing, I found myself unconsciously distorting my facial expressions, with trembling hands and feet. In those moments, I wished I could wear armor that would protect me and hide my body.

To express this feeling, I created a mask, gloves, armor, and boots using recycled cardboard. In some African cultures, masks are worn to appear strong in front of enemies. Similarly, I translated my desire to hide from society into the form of primitive armor. Each sharp-looking piece represents emotional distance, as if unaffected by vulnerability.
